. Several times people around me where giving me weird looks because I was singing along to the shows

I don't know if u were the highly intoxicated very portly girl who somehow waddled her way to the second "row" of people, but that particular girl had one of the worst voices I've ever heard come from a human. Not only that she kept singing mostly the wrong lyrics a couple seconds prior to Moz to prove she knew the words...which she didn't. Maybe Moz heard her and cowered away after meat is murder because of the heifer whines. Just a theory.

Gotta say - I've seen Moz 13 times and always given him the benefit of the blunt. But tonight was nothing more than a his say fit because people didn't go nutnfornhis meat is murder video and song. So we get punished with no encore. Prior to that I would have said "nice show" but honestly, when these light cameo and he never returned and did no encourage or said "good night & thank you" I was like "screw you"…and I am a huge fan.
Everything you said is true `I Still don't believe it ~No Encore ?!?

Nope that wasn't me. I'm a guy. But you bring up another point I forgot to mention, the drunks. There were a ton of them. Hey I like to drink too but if you’re going to get shitfaced what’s the point of paying for a show you’ll probably forget about? The stupid drunk a couple people behind me kept calling Morrissey “daddy”. During Speedway when it got really quite he yelled “Hey Daddy reform the Smiths!” What a dumbass.

Is there someone who would try and buy me one and send it over to germany? I would paypal immediately. Today to be exact. This is really nice. Thanks..Jorg. You can email me at avita at gmx dot de

To comment on the post about someone trying to " pull him in" , that really is not the case. during that song, all the person wanted was a handshake or just a touch from moz. He (morrisey) saw that and ventured over to grab his hand. As he did, the security staff came in and aggressivly put their hand across his face almost like he wanted to rip his face off. Morrissey saw that as well as anyone who was in the balcony with a direct view.
As for the other reason why there was no encore, i can only imagine it has something to do with the backstage area. Directly to the right of the stage (if your looking at the stage) is the main kitchen to the HOB. The dressing room doors are located only about 20 feet from the kitchen area. His rider for this venue specifically stated that thes kitchen doors be securly fastened and closed off and sealed while he was in the venue. Being a Saturday night in a busy casino, it would not surprise me if that there was a lack in proper "closurer" of the kitchen area,in which resulted in a improper smell of the backstage area which in turn would piss off his royal highness , therefore neglecting us loyal fans of a proper encore. Just a thought? Or, ......Maybe he just doesn't like New Jersey

Haha...I might have been the dude giving you the weird looks...along with the guy next to me if in fact you were the guy who insisted on riding me piggyback while screaming off key in my ear. Haha. Proud of ya! For real though...no hard feelings...everybody should have fun at a Morrissey show. Adds to the atmosphere. PS. This was Moz show number 6 for me and one of the best, my wifes second!

Re: Article: Atlantic City, NJ - House of Blues at Showboat Atlantic City (Jan. 12, 2

I agree! My wife and I are huge Moz fans, have seen him several times, Moz tatts...the whole nine yards. But never can shake a kind of empty and sad feeling when he leaves the stage without so much as a wave. Kinda disappointing...but still...a GREAT show...

Tonight was the third show this week and it was amazing to me except no encore!! Morrissey is always great every time I have seen him. When I am at a show no matter what kind of show it is i NEVER pick up my phone unless it is to take a photo.I never understood people who weren't 100% into what was going on in front of them.I sang every song old and new and enjoyed every moment of that show. I had no idea of time when he was on stage. it was 100% MORRISSEY. as it always is. met a few great people I was standing with as always but around "alma matters" people started shoving trying to grab his hand (now if you are three back from the gate and then the space between the gate and the stage how the f*** are you going to shake his hand? Let alone the two girls behind my girlfriend and and I who locked hands and were gonna fight and then the other girl who my friend had to tell her to put her hands down because she stunk and kept hitting people because she was sloppy. Every venue is a different experience but there are always somethings that you're like WTF. I am a fan of stage invading if it is done right for a quick hug, kiss or handshake or whatever. But tonight there was no way to get up on stage really without hitting security but still that guy tried. Then at the Tilles center on Wednesday that guy who almost knocked Moz down in a headlock? C'mon now.. I did notice Morrissey had a bandage on his finger but I doubt it was from that. All in all the show was great as always but "Well i wonder" why there was no encore.........Until the next one have a good night everyone.

I wish that Morrissey would drop Meat is Murder from the set list. He has so many other songs available that would be so much more fun.

Details about the crowd are all very interesting but what was his banter?

Let me also say, if I’m going to a Morrissey show, I’m going to sing along to the songs. Several times people around me where giving me weird looks because I was singing along to the songs. Hello, that’s what you’re supposed to do! You don’t go to a Morrissey show to sit on your ass and stare blankly at him, while mildly applauding. You’re supposed to go ape shit (in your own way and enjoy this moment in time).

Overall I enjoyed the set and Morrissey sounded great. The no encore was a big disappointment, but an even bigger disappointment was the lame ass crowd. I hope others on here that get the pleasure to see Morrissey on this tour sign their hearts out and appreciate being there.

You sound properly annoying. I would go to a Morrissey concert to see and hear MORRISSEY sing, not some bellend next to me. If I'd been next to you last night and you'd tried to sing along you'd have been sparked.

I do agree that everyone else going to see Moz this tour should sign their hearts out... there's a poetry to that, albeit stumbled upon.

You are a lame human, I pay good money to see Morrissey and his band, not your caterwauling... The best way to show your love for Mozzer is to very silently fart or queef, let Mozzer and the surrounding fans smell your love, not hear it. We have 5 senses in which to express ourselves, it is time to let the lesser used ones now be of use!

Got some really great photos, first time I've ever been to a show at any House of Blues where they weren't totally anal about cameras, can't wait to post them to my Flickr, will get them up later today after I get home and post link!,,

watching over my footage from last night's show, being snubbed outside tour bus in BK, and no encore in AC...i believe my love affair with morrissey is coming to an end...well, not really, but can now understand why he dislikes some of his fans. first time at a GA morrissey show by the stage...what a bunch of jerks! being pushed in the back by a bunch of neanderthal trannys(where did the come from anyway), rockabilly b$tchy chicks pushing way to front and then start an arguement with my friend, and gross sweaty man basically pushing into me entire night and eventually standing directly in front of me(he was way taller than myself) really annoyed me. Morrissey fans have changed from the vegan hardcore kids i remember from high school. that pit sucked and this is from somone who has seen wu tang in philly. i have spent one night with you guys and am ready to call it quits. i will stick to safely watching morrissey on youtube from home and love him from a far.

All that needs to be said is that the treatment of a child and his father on here and Morrissey not doing an encore WERE linked.

Well done

All of your 'complaints' sound like every show I go to, which is usually one a week. You go to a ga show, you have to deal with that kind of shit, not just a Moz show.

Of course, you mean Morrissey is frightened of the child's creepy father who covers his entire face and dresses his son up like mini-Morrissey, leaving behind what should be a happy pic of father and son at a concert, and turns it into a pic that looks like it should be on a wanted poster or on the back of a milk carton?

Oh, and honey....Morrissey doesn't eat anything that is "Well done"!
