My Irish accent is often commented upon here in England.

Personally I love Geordie voices, but hate the Texan twang.

Possibly one's opinion is based upon one's dealings with people who have accents. I have a very good Geordie friend and I loved The Likely Lads.

Whereas I detest the whole right wing sexually repressed GWBush loving gun-toting hipocritical 'fag hating' Texan stereotype.

It's a funny old world.

Most Texans hate that stereotype as well. Is that your experience with Texans? A stereotype? Or have you ever actually met any?

I could say I don't like Geordies based on Sting, but I like Alan Shearer, so I guess I'm neutral on the accent.

Scottish and Irish are my favorite accents to imitate...I like to do the Mancurian one too...but any Englishperson can spot it's fake easily..

They should have brought him back for Casino Royale...now I have to pretend that the Connery films never happened thanks to Daniel Craig

I mean if Bond's "first" mission involved cell phones and a Judi Dench as M...that means there never was a SPECTRE?

Sean Connery was the best Bond EVER..I really wanted to be one of his Bond girls...I didn't rate casino Royale, although with the way Craig played him, he came across as quite a bit dark..(and not in skin tone) or am i wrong there? What did you think?

Yeah, that movie was filled with holes, and it was too long, even for a Bond film. But Daniel Craig is good eye candy.

My two favorite bonds are Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan. Sean Connery was never a favorite of mine, although he was a great Bond.

Was the first book written and was opted out to another company who held the rights for so many years...they made the film out to be Bond's first adventure...but since it was 'Set" in the current era that would make the rest of the series anachornistic, but they only care about $$$$

As A stand alone film, I did think it was quite good..but I didn't think he WAS BOND...

At least Lanzbury knew he wasn't Bond...at the opening of On Her Magesty's Secret Service he remarks "Hey, this never happenned to the other guy!"...Great Film..even if Connery wasn't in it

I grew up on Moore..and I liked his sense of humor..but the Connery films were much better...You can't blame Moore for the jokes that were Live And Let Die & Moonraker...

I still love For Your Eyes Only (The only subsequent film that mentions that Bond WAS married) and A View To A Kill...Christopher Walken was great in that one

What does 'Anachornistic' mean?

Do you think Craig will do re-makes of all the others, so that he follows it in the correct order? Do you think that would be wise? I am not so sure it would work.

I am going to ask a stupid question....Is that George Laznbury and didn't he only do the one film? Forgive me for my lack of knowledge...
