Just to clarify, there will be a Smiths "Headmaster Ritual" US 7" available on record store day (along with Oasis, New Order, Misfits, Leonard Cohen, Bad Religion, etc.)

plus it was nice going into a record shop and picking up a smiths 7" as if it was a new release

Really, they didn't unearth a stash of 24 year old 7"s that are worth over $400 each and distribute them amongst the record stores in the US for $6?

Fuckers. I went to two different shops today looking for it. The first one didn't know what I was talking about, and the second one said that their system showed that there was still 1 copy in the store, but nobody could find it. I accosted every customer who was carrying around vinyl, to no avail. I did leave with some freebies, though, like a bizarre Lost Highway sampler that has "Skull". Anyone wanna buy one? I have 3 extras.

Nope, I'm in DC, but I was in Baltimore today. I went to Sound Garden and some weird urban music shop downtown.

Was/is this single included in the 7" singles box from months back? i didn't really look through my box(my fault I know). I opened it to make sure it was complete, and stuffed it away in my drawer, where it has remained UNTOUCHED.
