Don't we all say that? It's sad but true...and then sad again.
I don't ever need to prove myself to you...

thanks for everyone's nice words! it's so good to know others feel the same.
one of these tours, i'd love to hang with the soloer's at a show, or beforehand or afterwards, since i always seem to be hanging out around the edges of the crowd (it's because i'm tall, and really don't want to block anyone's view!) all you guys/ gals totally rock.

hah this is so sweet of you! i hate when tall people stand RIGHT in front of me. but i suppose they cant help their tallness as much as I cant help my shortness.

maybe we should have an nyc meet up at a bar with morrissey in the jukebox!

There's a bar, somewhere, I can't remember, that does sunday night moz/smith nights. I went last year, and it was pretty amusing

I am not going to have any Post-tour blues on Sunday, after the Chicago show.
I think I'm going to move from there.

So do I, but I get sad after awhile, and then I usually listen to whomever the opening band was becuase I usually dig them, and then I can't even listen to them without think too much of moz....I'm pathetic

But the courteeners were really good, and even better upon second listen

I'm listening to them now. theyre REALLY good. i missed them at philly which was ashame cuz the singer showed up at the after party and i talked to him for a second, but since i hadnt heard them I couldnt tell him how awesome they are. but it wasnt until the Webster and Carnegie shows that i actually listened to them and i really dug them. the singer actually got up and sang "There is a Light" with the Sons and Heirs at the BB Kings after party too. it was fuckin cool.

is it strange going to see someone other than morrissey sing his songs?
i've never been to a moz/smiths tribute band before, i'm wondering if it would make me pine more for the authentic? i dunno, but i guees i'm always willing to give it a go. i've been listening to viva hate all day, and totally swooning, wishing i had access to the door within me that would allow who i was two weeks ago to walk through and say, hey, it's ok, he'll be back soon. o, and watching death of disco dancer clips on youtube. amazing. just amazing.
maybe tomorow i'll actually get some work done.
