Re: Placebo ...new album
I don't get why people tend to hate Battle For The Sun so much, I think it's a very fine album. It seems, though, people's tastes when it comes to Placebo are the opposite of mine - Meds is said to be a poor album, but it is for me the best thing released in the 2000s (it's a hard decision to make, but it's mine).
It's obviously more positive/upbeat and, well, it has its moments. It's a slow grower, but it grew a lot and I love it. Not the best album to start, but if you've already listened to a thing or two by the band, this isn't very behind at all if you ask me.
