To be honest I am not suprised; he always seemed 'not quite right'.

I am not discriminating him. I have two friends who suffer from depression and it is not a nice thing. However, I only meant to imply that I have noticed he is perhaps not at the same psychological standard as the majority of people.

I consider discrimination against people with mental health issues on a par with homophobia, racism, sexism etc. I don't see what that has to do with age.
