Indian is awesome...but my favorite buffet is most definitely Sweet Tomatoes. A ginormous salad bar, followed by all of the pasta, soup, baked potatoes, and muffins you can eat!

Is that up by Woodfield? I always see coupons in the Sunday paper, but we don't have one down here. I worked in commercial real estate, and quite frankly the people in retail who plan where stores will be don't know my section of the suburbs exists. We're damn lucky to have a Borders and a Trader Joe's. I'd not survive without those two.

I think the place near Woodfield is called Fried Green Tomatoes? Unless my Dad had the name wrong. We almost ate there instead of Rainforest Cafe. We supposedly had a 'special' table for his birthday and they sat us at a booth right next to this thundering waterfall. Between the animals (fake and children) I couldn't hear myself think. Great choice for lunch.

Yes, there's one at Woodfield. There's also one on North Avenue, in St. Charles (near the Charlestowne Mall) and one near Yorktown Mall, in Lombard.

I think that you should give it a try! It's very vegetarian friendly; in fact, they label every food that they have out, and tell you whether it's vegetarian or not, which I wish more restaurants would do.

Those places are so cool. When the kids were young, the thunderstorms used to make one of my girls freak out.
