Default You only call me when you're feeling depressed.

Well I'm back. I went out into the world and had more fun than I ever had before only to be left feeling empty by the "friends" who ventured with me. I fell in love and made love only to have my heart torn out and stomped on just when I thought the relationship was perfect and I was so high nothing else mattered.

This is a low. Sing me to sleep.

Use it as a learning experience.. take something positive and grow from the loss.. Don't let anyone take your smile. The landscape of your life may have changed but the cast is still the same..

The same thing happened to me a little over a year ago. It ruined my sense of trust and almost made me swear off romantic relationships forever (even though it was was my first 'true' one).

It still hurts A LOT and I do still terribly miss him and the way things were (I don't think I'll ever get over that)...but with time (and, in my case, antidepressants), the hurting won't be as intense as it is now.

Good luck to ya, Joey S.

In the long run, you either get married or break up. When you get married, you have won the dating game and no longer have to date. When you lose, you dont get married and you get to keep playing.

If this was not the person you were going to spend New Years eve 2026 with, then dont worry about it.

Believe in love and have a kick in the right place. We're alone, searching for ourselves. That's all.

This happened to me last week, can you believe? Hell, I was so full of anti depressants that I was not even able to cry, thank God.

true. I simply won't work it out, I just have lost a piece of my heart, wich is with him, that handsome devil, but I know things will get calm on my heart. Love=Pain.

Are we stupid dreamers? How long we need to wait until our true love comes and give us some peace? Is it a crime wanting someone for A LIFE, not for a month? Am I alone on this train?

I don't think so, but in my bitterness, I've come to realize that there's no such thing as "forever." People get bored of eachother. We're always searching for different things and when we find them, we eventually realize we wanted something different than THAT.

    It's a never-ending cycle.

I agree with whomever posted "love=pain" somewhere on this thread.

Yeah, but then you're stuck in a marriage. I'm of the opinion that nothing lasts, including love. Sick, huh?

But maybe he *thought* it would be the person he'd be (or LIKE to be) spending New Years eve 2026 with.

That's quite alright - LOTS of people make that mistake (though, thankfully, only online and never in person).

    > I apologise!!

No need to - I took it as a compliment.

    Of course it doesn't!

    Huh?

Are you poking fun at my gender by implying I'm frigid?

Really, you sure you don't mean you loathe what you are subjected to..what's expected of you...what is supposed to be correct from you...?

You want my opinion? Men, women...who cares, the only thing that counts is getting out with the least amount of bruises and scars as possible.

    Greasetea has spaketh.

Nope - apart from all that (which I ALSO loathe), I loathe all the physical aspects that go with being a woman.

    > You want my opinion?

    Sure...I'm gonna get it, anyway.
