Weird things people say to you about Moz.

It's alright actually, I just looked it up on Urban Dictionary.:eek::eek:

See, you didn't want to know. :tears: Now I'm going to have to live in the knowledge that I disturbed someone (else). :(

:p

Here's a few weird things that people have said to me about Morrissey:
"His music has made alot of people commit scuicide."
"Why are you in love with that old man? He's older than your dad."
"Ohhh Morrissey, isn't he GAY?"
"Morrissey is a devil worshipper"
"His music makes people depressed"

And other weird things like that which I think are so idiotic.

OK I got a good one. Back in the early 90s, people used to ask me if the Moz pic inside my locker was Vanilla Ice. I found that very insulting.

i once brought in a (rather lifelike) sketch of him for a university art studio class assignment.

someone asked me if i had drawn kramer...from seinfeld. (i think because of the quiff.... )

*FACEPALM*

...and I followed you. I am glad it has nothing to do with Jack Lemmon. Well, almost nothing.

...I might look at the website they give a link for later on. I'm saving those pics for a rainy day...:horny:
So see Franzi and Cat, pointless to keep durdy lil sikrits round 'ere!:p

Oh, these are good ones. I really like the one about suicide.

Here's the ones's I get "I've never heard of him"
"Mori who ?"

and the sweetest one from my 4 year old " He's the best singer in the world" :)

A guy I know in my local is a bit of a music techie type, works at gigs and stuff. So he's telling me about how he met Morrissey at a gig, and also his two lovely children and his sister. I tried to tell him they were probably his sisters children, but NOooo, he was insistant that they were HIS children!!! Is this some gossip we need to know about? ;)

well this is a few years back now, but i my exWife 1st got into moz through me
and had no idea about 'The Smiths' i guess
then one day(after going through my tapes*)she says to me something like:
"Omg! its like moz but with better music!"
does that count? :o

*=yes, some of us still had cassetes a decade ago, just deal with it!

An ex girlfriend loves the Moz because of me. Actually really pisses me off because I absolutely hate her anyway, even though It shouldn't annoy me because it's not a competition.

People don't really say anything unusual. Just the usual 'miserable' cliche's, which I have never understood, because to me Morrissey just speaks about life in general, whether it is good or bad, while most artists lyrics just seem to have been made out of complete fantasies.

My mum calls me a Morrissey bore because I seem to go on about him a lot.

I feel competitive with American fans usually, but I get on with most British Moz fans I meet though.
It just annoys me that she likes Moz because, I hate her, she'd never heard of the Moz before me and it's annoying when people treat something you love as just another trend. She's one of those who's only heard the Smiths, early Moz (Viva Hate etc), and You Are the Quarry on wards.
WOMEN!
