no effing way! that's ME! fuck yeah. are u sure?
EDIT: Ok! Out of skepticism I called them. Youre 100% right. the first three rows are gonna be taken out and the floor is going to be raised to stage level! so i dont think there will be like any standing room in front of row A, but we will see. maybe it will be chaos!

Awesome, awesome, awesome, awesome.
My ticket arrived today!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hmmmmm, that seat is the first seat in the row far right hun. The middle seat is like 115 or 116. I don't think I want to trade. I would love to help you out, but the first seat. I had the first seat in Merrillville in 2007 & didn't like it. You don't get as much love from Moz.
you're looking at the wrong row. look at row A, not 1-3: http://www.utpac.org/visit/seating_maps#bass
you'll see that the 1st seat in row A is 136, and on the other side it's 101, meaning our 103 and 104 seats are closer to the edge than 130.

I went to the Bass Concert Hall last night and the renovation is amazing. The sound was great and even though I was in row X for this show I had an excellent view. There was not a pit area for this show and row A was at the very edge of the stage. The venue is very grand in scale, but manages to still feel intimate. This will probably be the nicest venue I will ever see Morrissey in and I can't wait!

There was not a barrier last night, as I could see people resting their arms on stage. The stage looked to be about shoulder height. By Austin standards, comparable to La Zona Rosa, maybe a bit taller. I saw Broken Social Scene last night, and I don't think their fans are nearly as enthusiastic as Morrissey fans. I'm sure we can expect way more security, I didn't see any at all last night.
As the show will be on the UT campus, I wonder if we can expect a ACL taping?
