If only he had a grandchild the tabloids could self-righteously defend!!

In fairness, Moz got his kit off, he's gonna have to expect to be asked about it (although I doubt he'll ever explain it).
And in fairness, most of the GBP will have made up their minds on Morrissey years ago :-)

Does anyone know of any other upcoming TV appearances? There should be quite a few I imagine? Jools Holland must be a near cert?

No, I loved it too. I didn't know much about him before that. That interview got me into Moz to be honest, after that I went out and bought The Smiths Singles, Best Of Morrissey and You Are The Quarry, and was immediately hooked. That was also the first time I heard Everyday Is Like Sunday aswell. I thought the interview was brilliant, really funny. I really liked him, he came across really well

Default Morrissey to appear on 'Friday Night With Jonathon Ross' 13th Feb

Just discovered on the BBC website that Morrissey will be on with Jonathan Ross next Friday, 13th February.

"There is also music and chat from the reclusive Morrissey, performing Throwing My Arms Around Paris live in the studio."

They are indeed - another example of a great band overlooked by the cool-obsessed Media & the sheep that make up the majority of the chart-buying population.

I had the pleasure of speaking to Eds on the phone last year and he took my name & address. I received a Christmas card from all the lads and am looking forward to the new material they have planned for later this year.

I still listen to them regularly and hope to see them back at the sharp end of the charts again soon. 1996 wasn't that long ago.

There were (are?) a great band, and saw them live a number of times in their prime.
However, my name isn't taken from their single, but in actual fact from the same source The Bluetones named that great track.
    It's a Bill Hicks reference.

Ok, i'd recommend their first album "Expecting To Fly" and the live album "Once Upon A Time In West Twelve" as good starting points if you want to get into their music.

Also, the internet release only, 4 track "Serenity Now" E.P. from 2005 was very good - hard to find now though.
