I resisted BoA's many charms for quite some time actually then she came to

San Francisco to do a little mini performance at the Gay Pride concert
despite her strange look to me & the crowds almost complete apathy I really enjoyed her short set and I was so close to the stage!
but really what did it, was her, well, courage
the way she stood up to this crowd which really did not care for her
and with the sun beating down on us all, still she was so fuckin high energy
still, I resisted for a while getting her stuff or watching her video, then I saw and heard:

this song basically its like becoming one of my fave ever jpop song ever
and BoA, she belongs on Broadway, I can pay no singer a higher honor when I say that
then came the release of

her conquest of America has begun!
Maybe with not this album, but she's only 22, eventually she will be big here too...

my guess is that people who did not watch BSG became aware of her when she was featured in Maxim in 2005
