These Charming Men, Button Factory, Dublin, 27 Dec

Unrivalled remedy for the Christmas-ravaged soul!

Highlights for me were: a wonderful, That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore; Sing Your Life; Irish Blood English Heart, and All You Need Is Me, plus a generous roll-call of other Smiths tracks.

Thanks, fellas! Lovely crowd too - plenty of flowers, co-crooners and quiffs! :)

'Twas a wonderful Christmas evening, GH!
Was talking to Gavin pre-gig and he said they had some surprises. "All You Need Is Me" sounded great, but I was hoping for a rendition of "Skull"!!!
For me, the highlight was "Sing Your Life", it went on forever :)

Do say hello next time :)

I also harboured a slim hope to hear '...Paris' but how could they really play a song as yet not officially released?

Everyone seemed to have a good time. Ketchup next time. :)

They always are in the Button Factory... Bit pissed off that I missed this, but I guess a night out in Amsterdam wasn't too bad either! ;-)

Always difficult spotting those of paranormal/supernatural existence, but sure. Thanks for being a super crowd as always and thanks for the comments and plugging the gig here.Happy New year to all and sundry :)

Lee for TCM.

Ha ha, I'll take human form for the next gig.

Same to you, Lee, and thanks to you and the lads for all the great nights!

Monday, 'you are sleeping, you do not want to believe'!!

And come back soon, 'don't leave us in the dark'.
Btw, are you doing a whirl at any of the after-shows?

Happy New Year, all.

Might see you in Omagh.

Russia is tempting me, unlikely as it is that I can manage a trip to such 'far-off places' this year.

Stay charming! :D
