    Default Setlist question

Ok, I am not trying to predict a setlist (I already did that earlier in another thread) however, I was wondering what people's thoughts on the set list will be.

Do you reckon we can expect a mix of Smiths, early Solo, and Refusal? Or, do you think it shall follow the style of Tour Of The Tormentors and be very Refusal heavy with two or three smiths and a bit of other solo stuff with recent singles?

    Love PTxx.

Haha, gimme a break...Morrissey is touring in 6 months and so I am bored and therefore, despite what I said in my first post, trying to predict a setlist. Also, I know what I am getting for Christmas...Morrissey tickets!

Ok, I bet he opens with Wonderful Woman done in a reggae style!

What will security be like at the Apollo, what will my chances of making it onto the stage from the seated area be like?

Can we take big fuck off cameras on tripods in?

Does anyone know what the pre Morrissey soundtrack will be?

All these questions - and more - to follow between now and the tour starting!

    My guess:
    - Nine songs from YoR
    - Three songs from RotT
    - Three songs from YatQ
    - Three songs from the "early years"
    - Four songs from The Smiths (not including "The Draize Train" )

I just hope that THPGU doesn't continue and even though i liked AYNIM it should also go to make room for something new. I think IBEH, FOTGTD, boy happy, Let me kiss you, Crashing bores and HSIN need to be rested for this tour

Actually..... it's less than three months away when the tour starts, so we will know all the details well before the UK leg commences.

It's obviously far too early to predict anything yet, but on a slight tangent from that, how consistent is/ has Morrissey been in the past? Does he frequently change the setlist night to night, or keep it consistent throughout?
As someone who has seen him quite afew times on seperate tours, I've never really known whether he has altered the songs or added new ones, but I'll be attending several consecutive nights, so should I expect to hear the same songs each night or will there be differences each night...

generally, if Moz is doing two nights in the same venue he will usually mix it up a little bit. People attending both can reasonably expect to hear 1-3 differences. Although, this is not always the case. I've seen back-to-back shows in the same venue where the set was identical both nights. I've also seen back-to-backs where its varied significantly, like 5-6 differences, such as the last two hammerstein shows in NYC in 2007.

    the short answer? Maybe.

Lets just agree that anyone who moans about him playing his new album instead of a greatest hits set is a bloody idiot.

he tends to play plenty of Smiths stuff these days; 5 or 6 songs.
he'll play at least 6 songs off YOR.
of the remaining 10, unfortunately it'll mainly be Quarry/ROTT-era songs.
Moz sadly seems to think that that's his best solo period and has leaned very heavily on it in all the recent tours.
just 2 or 3 songs from Quarry/ROTT would be preferable leaving space for loads of 1988-1997 songs, as there are so many great ones to choose from...
