BOY George handcuffed a male escort to his bedroom wall and beat him with a metal chain after accusing him of tampering with his computer, a court heard.
The former pop star and DJ screamed "f..king whore" as he attacked Audun Carlsen at his London home in April last year, jurors at London's Snaresbrook Crown Court were told.
Boy George, 46 -- being tried under his real name, George O'Dowd -- had made contact with Mr Carlsen, 29, on the Gaydar website.
The pair took cocaine and O'Dowd performed a sex act on the Norwegian. Heather Norton, for the prosecution, said O'Dowd started to suspect Mr Carlsen of tampering with his laptop. However, they parted on good terms and the singer paid the man pound stg. 300 of the pound stg. 400 they had agreed.
But in the weeks that followed, the former Culture Club frontman bombarded the escort with emails accusing him of breaking into his computer system.
However, the singer suggested they meet again. He allegedly beckoned Mr Carlsen into his bedroom where a second, unidentified man was waiting.
Mr Carlsen told the court on Monday: "As soon as I saw the other guy they were both jumping on me. They held me down and beat me. I could not move."
The court heard that the singer shouted: "F..king whore, now you are going to get what you deserve."
Mr Carlsen said the two men dragged him across the floor towards the bed and put a handcuff on his right hand. The manacle was attached to a hook drilled into the wall.
The second man then left and O'Dowd produced a plastic box containing chains, sex toys and leather straps.
Mr Carlsen said he broke free, having used the handcuffs to unscrew the hook from the wall.
"He tried to stop me but I ran for the front door. I took a bit of time getting the door open and he had a metal chain that he was hitting me with."
The court saw photographs of deep red welts on Mr Carlsen's head, and injuries to his arm.
After escaping from the flat, he said, he ran out on to the street wearing only his underwear.
O'Dowd denies charges of false imprisonment and assault.
The hearing continues.
