yes i ve read an interview where he told the interviewer he was asked to play in a movie about the kray twins
and in another film with lili taylor as valerie solanis (she wrote a feministic pamphlet ans was the woman who shot andy warhol,
she didnt achieve her goal though he was wounded, but survived)
in the latter film with taylor he was supposed to play a playboy

Morrissey himself admits that he's not very good at acting.

He should remain as a singer and songwriter rather than start acting career.

Exactly, they need to cast a good actor. Remember what happened to the show when they got Sylvester McCoy in. Now there's an actor who works better in print...
