What did make you smile today?

I totally jacked my knee tonight, but I went from the first shit-tastic view to 2nd row after jumping a wall between some portapotties. TOTALLY worth it. Those people paid close to $2000 for that view. Insanity, even if I was wealthy, total insanity to pay that. The Stones kill it live, goddam.

This one was on-the-way. I walked past the catwalk and right on in up to the front while a handicapped guy was distracting the aisle guard.

glad it worked out for you

How does one do that? Did you take that pic as you were climbing over the portajohns?

My knee is 80% back to normal. Elevation, ice, Advil...

Last night I literally couldn't left my leg off the accelerator to apply the break, today I can walk with barely a limp.

Now to fix the flat tire I got on the way to the show, I had all kinds of hurdles last night.

No, there was a main thorofaire in the middle of the floor seats. As I walked around the stage that jutted out to the center I held My arm up and took this snapshot. The portajohns were off to the side.

I jumped between these two white roofs. The pic you asked about was somewhere off towards the spotlight in the crowd.

The ONLY reason I got as far forward as I did was two things.

1. Rich people are polite.

2. The chairs and rows were organized. THere was no real crowd, it was a matter of just passing my saints bracelet off as a red wristband and ducking past the ticket check guards. THe people themselves were very orderly and polite, one even offering me his seat when he left midway through because it was too loud to his wife's ears.

Petco Park is BEAUTIFUL, by the way. If you ever have a chance to catch a game there, go! It's in the heart of downtown San Diego, so many trendy bars and restaurants and hotels around.

Anyway, after this I'll stop tooting my own horn but I'm rather impressed with myself because I generally don't put myself in dangerous situations.

This is Petco Park during a game. In rightfield you'll bee a "Grab some Buds" sign in red up top. Directly under that next to the field is a yellow Petco sign. Between it and the Sony sign is the wall I jumped off of. I'm 5'6". It had to be a 10 or 12 foot drop. I slid between the outhouses like a cartoon with my legs outstretched between them.

I agree rich people are usually very polite

Etiquette, probability, plain rudeness...

http://www.theguardian.com/education/2015/may/26/etiquette-do-you-hold-door-open

Door holders are becoming extinct, I think; I once entered a supermarket behind a huge bloke and he didn't hold the door whereas I had foolishly calculated he would, it being sort of heavy, and so when he didn't I let out an audible sigh, which made him scream " WHAT'S THE MATTER, DIDN'T I FLING IT OPEN HARD ENOUGH?!!!?" I quietly replied, "it'z okay, I'm used to it." I thought he was going to thump me in front of the other customers. Then of course HIS attitude made me mad, and I followed him in the alleys looking for a while, looking menacing, then left without buying anything because I was too upset...

And that's nothing compared with doors in underground stations when it's really windy. You could die pretty fast then. :)

I hold most doors, even for men, as a reflex, and most men look at me as if I was abnormal, which in turn makes me want to ask him if they have a f***ing problem, etc etc etc :D

Plus, It's all very symbolic, doors, innit. " What's wrong with you? When you were born into this world, did your mother shut the door in your face, Mongolito?!"

don't know why my comment on politeness connected with the baseball one and not the other but oh well. as for bundy you should have use one from the agony of de feet where he nhas nightmares about feet. would have been funnier

My recent posts have been worryingly pretty dyslexic and akelseygrammatical, but I can still spot the O'Neill in that season 7 episode 19 episode title in less than a second... So, you know, in case anyone gives a fukc, reassuring news. :)

I have an angry forced indifference to grammar as im sure you know already know and I don't worry about it at all and my lifes much more enjoyable for it. im only grammatically correct when it gains me something and i cant get around it otherwise i find that indifference very useful. i also think quickly, read does not equate to profoundly, and just get way ahead of myself. i also think that one of the best shows ever. if they had been a black family it would have been even more authentic
