Just a shame that Gene got lumped in with the Britpop oiks of 1995 which effectively ended their career. 'For the Dead' and 'Speak to me Someone' are a couple of the best songs written in the last ten years and Rossiter is highly underated.

I have a couple of their albums. I also have this little single type thing... it's just entitled GENE. It has on it:

I really like the last one. But I that little quaver of his voice in most of their songs can really get on my nerves. So I can only listen to them sometimes.
