I WANT IT TO SOUND LIKE THE SMITHS . I'm pretty sure I don't like Morrissey's actual music that much anymore, I mean, they're good tunes, but not really my kind of thing. The lyrics are the only reason I listen to later Moz. I'm just a punk kid posing as a Morrissey fan. All this 'torch singer' stuff literally disgusts me.

I'm not saying he can't grow because obviously I have no control over this, but I can't help it if I don't like it..

no i'm not questioning your opinion, but i think he would be alot less interesting if he had just made a career as the front man for a smiths tribute band.

His later albums just really don't do anything for me musically. I want him to grow as well, but I just don't really like the direction he's taking at the moment, that's all.

Don't let NRITH see this, the grammar radar will implode.
Being as Moz has a huge gay following - yes, I suppose this is a forum for 'fags'. Unless you mean cigarettes, in which case I am not too sure.

Either way, I think you could become a very popular member of the forum!

You can't stand his music? The massive success of both Appetite For Destruction and Greatest Hits would suggest you're in the minority on that one. But you're entitled to your opinion. But how does his choice of music make him an awful person? If that's the case then there are millions and millions of awful people out there....
And what exactly does his music stand for?
As for his appearance.. well, judging someone by the way they look is immature in the extreme. And again, what does his appearance stand for that offends you so much?
seems to me you're the one "judging and branding" people, young man..

Finally, I thought self-righteous 80's has-beens were all the rage round here...

What is that supposed to mean?
And I am happy to be in minority in this case, thank you very much.
And what does his music stand for? That is a very good question to which I am quite sure you will solve.
I think that not accepting the fact that people are judged on their appearances is also quite immature. I do not judge him for the colour of his skin or his natural features in the slightest, but the way a person presents themselves is a crucial insight into their mindset and lifestyles. And after I have JUDGED Axl Rose, I have come to the conclusion that as long as I banish him and others like him from my life in everyway I possibly can, then I may still be able to believe that there is art alive in music.

And if you are suggesting Morrissey is a self-righteous 80's has been, old man, then it would be better spared for your peers on Axl-Solo.

Spare us the "look at me, i'm ever so intelligent, i only listen to intelligent music" routine. You're just a pretentious little boy.

Is that what you do when you lose an argument?
You previously said that I was the one 'judging and branding' Axl Rose - is music not meant to be judged and dissected? He has purposely put himself and his views forward to be judged. However, I don't take kindly to people judging and indeed branding people who have not submitted themselves in such a way and wish not to draw the attraction that doing this might:

But you haven't judged and dissected his music or his views, you just keep posting these pictures!

And I haven't "lost an argument" - I'm not arguing with you.

I think these pictures quite easily sum up him as a person. He is an egotistical, violent wannabe. Guns 'n' Roses were in themselves a vintage hair metal/rock band, more concerned with looking cool playing their fretmelting solos than putting across anything meaningful - he provided nothing new or innovative, which is what I personally look for in my music. I accept that they have a lot of very popular songs, but I cannot and will not ever like them.

I think your last comment, that involved turning to insults, could be deemed to have been quite inflamattory and argumentative/pathetic?

As I have said before, I endeavour to pay no attention to people such as Rose and have only done so now as you raised the issue.
