I've seen U2 live several times, the first was in 1981 supporting The Police (I did go to see U2.) The best was in 1987 at a 75,000 sold-out Murrayfield stadium on The Joshua Tree world tour - what a gig, I will never forget it. They were the biggest band in the world at the time. It was also the loudest gig I've ever attended, I remember news reports that it actually measured 2 on the Richter scale and could be heard several miles away - Bullet The Blue Sky was astonishing live.

yes..thanks for the thread..it'S time.!!!.i saw them on the elevation and vertigo tour..3 times at each one..they're amazing..when you get out of a concert..you're blown away..you feel like a new person....i absolutley love them..can't wait for their new album..coming out in September/october and the upcoming tour then in 2009...so we will have two great records this year.. at the same time, right..moz and u2..seems perfect!!
