TTY mentions recordstore.co.uk which still accepts 3 for £5 bandle.
Only people who ordered through HMV got emails of cancellation.

I really hope someone can upload this whenever possible .. not sure what it means by available for one week only .. being in a country that really doesn't import morrissey singles i'd still love to be able to get to b-sides

    Gah! No, have you?

Love Morrissey, but hate most Morrissey fans? Then this is the FB group for you.

    Default Children in Pieces

I've been trolling Soulseek and Smithstorrrents.co.uk and still nothing. If you don't feel comfortable uploading it to a Sendspace or Rapidshare account, then at least send a Private Message with the song as an attachment so one of us can upload it to the usual places. We've all ordered our usual multitude of copies, but those of us in the U.S. don't feel like waiting weeks for songs available now.

You guys have it real easy. I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down.

I think that it could have been much better if Jerry Finn had produced it.

No specific room in Soulseek. I just type in the song title and hit search. Quite a few instrumentals pop up, but none of the official b-sides.

That's great news. When my hmv order was cancelled, I panicked and bought it from amazon.de using express delivery, which was ridiculously expensive . Then started to worry that they would change the release date to 2nd of June as well, so now at least I didn't pay that in vain (still waiting for it though ). My hmv order was for all 3 formats though, but now cannot afford anymore, sorry Morrissey...

Well, I've just heard Children In Pieces. You won't be disappointed. Nothing will have the rawness or bollocks of the demo, and to be honest, it takes a while to get going, but when it does, it's by far and away Jesse's best, especially the last 40 seconds or so. And....there's a weird bit of backwards Morrissey talking at the end...I'll see if I can decipher it.

    Cheers,

    Peter

The backwards bit at the end is "...and The Christian Brothers kick the shit out of very frightened children." (but backwards, of course - is this the first time we've had a bit of backwards Moz in a recording?)

There was a good article on the Christian Brothers in the Independent a week and a bit ago, link here.

    Peter

Edit - and there's some camera clicks at the beginning. Not sure what that's about.

Any chance we can get it up on Hype Machine or YouTube? So people can hear it, but not download it?

Someone take pity on us! lol
