Tom Cruise went downhill when he made Interview With A Vampire. I just never was able to see him go from playing Lawyers to another type of Bloodsucker.

Scientology is no more goofy than any other religion.To my mind they are all flawed.I never understand why people moan about his beliefs.Its not like he's sarted an inquisition.Or hurt anyone.Jehovahs Witnesses have far crazier beliefs and they feel they have the right to knock on my door quite often and lecture me with their bizarre ideas.....if only Tom could do the same

This is true. I guess 'cause Scientology was created by a group of fiction writers in the '70s, as opposed to a group of fiction writers 2000 years ago. Most people appeal to how bizarre Scientology is, with the aliens and what have you, but it's really only as far-fetched as many Biblical claims. The difference is that those Biblical claims have seeped into our culture and become more readily accepted.
