Any Moz fans in TAMPA??

Hi guys, I am studying art at USF and for my Senior Thesis show I did a series of Morrissey drawings and paintings. The show is up until the 25th of April at the West Tampa Center for the Arts in downtown Tampa. Unfortunately, there's hardly anyone in this town that appreciate Moz!!! sooo...I was thinking somehow a morrissey lover in tampa might stumble upon this post and be able to go see my work.

the reception is friday april 12 from 7-11...lots of free food, music, awesome art, etc. etc. but mostly, 2 walls dedicated to the love of our man.

if someone comes to the reception, you should see me because i'll be the only one wearing a morrissey shirt. ha...

hey thanks! i actually never noticed that before, it's so true! usually the first question i get when people look at my art is 'is that james dean' or when i draw him with glasses its 'is that buddy holly?' lol

I grew up in Tampa and unfortunately it is like most other places when it comes to Moz - most know him, don't know much of his music, or have some negative impression. It's great that your art is out there for the public. Tampa has always had an eclectic, almost burgeoning art scene. You should go to The Hub afterwards.
