Uncles Al's Call to Arms! It's a Party and you are all invited!

This album is a cover release ho-down party with Uncle Al Jourgensen and his roving band of co-conspirator pirates Burton C. Bell (Fear Factory), Tommy Victor (Prong), Paul Raven (Killing Joke), Sin Quirin(Revolting Cocks) and Plastilina Mosh.

2008 is the year of the band's final World tour entitled C U LaTour.

We are still a rock band, we can still have fun. We don't just bitch about Bush and global oligarchies. As I bring Ministry to a close, it's important to remember that behind whatever hammer we were swinging at the time, there was always a wry chuckle to be found too. - Al Jourgensen

I couldn't believe when I first read that Jourgensen was calling it a day.

I've always loved his first album, 'With Sympathy', even though the record was never anything that represented the style he was after (and he probably doesn't even acknowledge it.) 'The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste and 'Land of Rape Honey' were my other favorites. After 1989, the music just got way too distorted for my liking, I guess. It wasn't Industrial anymore. Wow, the memories!

I'll have to check out those covers....
