I can`t help but tell of my delight as I randomly wandered into a charity shop and they were selling the original UK casette for €1.90.![]()
I have the onrignal album in mint condition cover and all. (Vinly) I was 18 at the time and bought it at SAM GOODY record shop at Laguna Hills Mall,Ca. USA and I went home and listen to it for the first time. To me it was a breath of fresh air and every song is amazing including the single classic EVERYDAY IS LIKE SUNDAY and SUEDHEAD. But Last Night, Maudlin Street had to be the best song on the album and by far the best ever written song. 20 years ago wow it's been that long now thats make feel old. I hope his new album is gonna be a good one just like RINGLEADERS OF THE TORMENTOS.
Love & Peace,
Shane (Moz 1988)
"I think both me and Morrissey are about as proud as anyone can be about those records. I'm proud of everything the band did, and I'm proud of the relationship, and I'm proud of the friendship. I don't have any feud going on. I support what Andy's doing, and I don't know what Morrissey's doing but I'm behind it." - Johnny Marr, 2013.
My sis. bless her got my father to bring her the CD from the states, and I remember everyday is like sunday going on every morning (although in Israel mornings were very far from being silent and grey...). I remember the cd came in that big wierd carton box, can't believe I threw this away!!!
By far the Best Moz solo album ever, I can't believe I am saying this but I doubt he'll ever be able to top this.
The sleeve was also a classic, Anton Corbijn did an amazing job, I say bring him back and Stephen Street too!
