I respect East Kilbride, for giving The Jesus & Mary Chain to the world.

Why would you buy the record?

Ps. Which record are we talking about? Greatest Hits or the newspaper?
And I heard so many things I failed to understand at all

I simply asked why would you buy the record?

Why wouldn't I? It's his music after all. And I want to have the two-cd-version.

    OK, EPbabe & Hugh

There is a newspaper in Scotland called The Daily Record.
Morrissey has a new record out.

So EPbabe, your are being confused by M23 who is (purposely) refering to the newspaper in his question whilst you are refering to Morrissey's record in your answer. I think!

Ah! No, no. Not purposely but thanks for clearing that up. I was confused as to why anybody, even living in Scotland would want to buy that rag.

    Thanks for the translation!

To be honeset i gave up reading the Daily Record newspaper around the point where i learned to write in joined up writing , it is made up of snippets pulled from proper news paper and makes the sun newspaper look like a clear well educated read.

I dont think you need to be a morrissey fan to boycott it , common sense should tell you that .

Sadly some people in Scotland do buy it. Maybe somebody who comes here knows somebody who does and if they love that person they should help them.

    Feb 8 2008 John Dingwall
    Live Music Reviews

THE handsome giant triple image of a young Richard Burton, glass in hand, as opposed to hand-in-glove, provided the backdrop to Morrissey's only Scots date on his current tour.

And he was in remarkable and almost operatic voice, delivering humorous asides to accompany his poetic, intelligent and often bitter lyrics.

A sell-out crowd failed to see the irony, however, as they turned the gig into a giant out-of-time and out-of-tune singalong that threatened to overpower some of Morrissey's finest moments, such as Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want.

In doing so they did help to add to the giddy atmosphere and character of the occasion.

A series of attempted stage invasions not seen since the likes of Wham! helped to add a surreal note to the evening.
