    Default cookies coffee and more...

Since its the season of sharing I thought I'd share some of my favorite goodies.

Biscoff Cookies are awfully tasty. THey look plain and boring but when you eat one you want twelve more.
They also have very nice pastries. We are partial to the chocolate dipped waffles.

Barnie's Coffee has the best flavored deals in the USA. I know because I drink far too much coffee and I am picky. My favorites are Hazelnut (a staple in all coffee companies) and "Santa's White Christmas" which is available all year long. THeir house blends are great too.

Yankee candle seems too expensive for a candle, but when you get them they last for a very long time and actually smell like they are supposed to when you burn them. I use balsam and cedar at christmas time bc it smells just like a christmas tree. THey've got other nice scents as well. I'd go to the store bc i imagine ordering online must have hefty shipping costs considering how heavy they are. they often have buy one get one deals in the store. Right now they have a lot of 75% off because its after Christmas.

Do you have any treats that we could benefit from finding out about? Im pretty sure the first two are not that well known.

Vegan Truffles from your local Whole Foods Market will melt in your mouth; only $4.99 for a massive box. Just the right balance of bitter and sweet...

Key Limes are smaller than regular limes, but they've got much more juice. They have a mild, lemony, almost floral flavor with a delicate flesh and thin, leathery rind. There should be a subtle "give" when you squeeze them. You can get smallish bags of Mexican grown Key Limes in the supermarket all year 'round now, and they're only slightly inferior to Florida citrus.

    Lastly,

Minneola or honeybell tangelos are a hybrid of a mandarin orange and a grapefruit or pomelo. They're both tart and sweet, and so juicy that you should eat them leaning over the sink. They're only in season for about four to six weeks starting in January.

Those candles sound nice... I am not allowed to have scented candles in my house. I can have cookies, but I don't. Coffee is fair game. Life is weird sometimes.

I'm not allowed to have any candles at all. My hubby's worried that I burn the house down.... He was kind enough to make an exception with the advent crown though....
And I heard so many things I failed to understand at all

if you have a gas stove, then you should be allowed to have candles. there's a similar flame risk with both, bwahahaha!

We don't have a gas stove, I didn't want one, because of the flame risk...
