That's Leslie there, bang-smack in the middle, just to the left of Hazel Blears (who's from Weaste, don't you know). Leslie is the man who, as far as I'm aware, keeps the SLC alive. What a chap.

i do hope they get the funding they need . i hope that every slc and community youth centre from manchester to islamabad gets the money they need to help educate kids and get them off the streets.
I'm sure the Monarchy has f** all to do with it. I'm sure the Labour government has everything to do with selling off all the assets of our land that could benefit our youth. Clubs, playing fields, youth centres. Hazel Blears did her best as a face for the government at that event, but the larger picture is erosion of facilities for youngsters in this country, which is a disgrace. I'm a simple person, and I don't have all the answers, but as a start, not selling off youth facilities for housing developments and supermarkets would be good.

I believe they do! You have a fine bottom but hers is better. Would you accept one? Thought you had higher sights than ordinary Kylie and people like her with their lives laid out before them, who feel so lucky, so lucky. I thought you were so different.

    Hugh,
Steady on, she's the Health Minister or something like that, not the dep!
Still, as a 5 year old, she was an extra in 'A Taste Of Honey'

Secretary of state. Yes. She replaced John Prescott. She is the PM's deputy. When he can't do Question time, only she can stand in. It pays her around £140, 000 and has perks included such as Dorneywood and the Buckinghamshire country house. There is also expenses of in excess of £150,000.

How do you know Jeane's rear end is not as good as Kyle's? I think you are mixing up Jeane with that individual whose name also begins with 'J' who you followed the entire 16 miles on the bike ride a few feet behind her, simply so you could admire her (ahem) rear view from behind for the whole duration

OK OK, it's just gone 1am and I've been on the beer since 4pm..... so I spelt Kyle wrong when it should have been...... I dont know.... the Aussie bird from Neighbours, who should be so lucky lucky lucky. She bonked the bloke from INXS and Jason Donovan. But not at the same time

Er, Hugh, Jeane is not a 'he' but a 'she'

Funny you should mention the scrawlings....... I was in that room the other day (not often I go in there...) and was 'shocked' at one or two comments... will get back to you on this after further investigations

Oh, don't get me wrong. I don't support the Labour goverment at all but I'll never forget just how evil the Torries were (are). If we forget that, they may get back in. I'm too idealistic for either of them. I last voted Labour to end 18 years of Tory destruction. It was hard for me not to vote for my MP, Tam Dayell (Good guy). Since then it has been Green, socialist, spoilt vote or not even bothering.

My original post was directed as Uncle Skinny's post that seemed to blame Labour. It was hardly Labour who began the rot. The Torries sold off everything they could. KAUNTS!

I bought a book yesterday from Fopp in Manchester for £2 titled 'So Now who do we vote for? by John Harris, which is a look at the hijacking of the Labour party by 'New Labour'. not started it yet, but will let you know about it in due course.
