Somehow, days in the beach are often melancholyc. When I'm there, I often remember my dog friend, who used to bark, and jump on me, and run beside me. So much memories.

I'm probably confirming to the stereotype but I do visit cemeteries. Great places to take photographs and of course to gravely read the stones. I once did a whole series of photographs of angels which adorned the headstones.

Do you have them posted online?...I would love to see them if you do.

I love cemetaries, they are some of the most beautiful places to visit, wander.

I've done the same thing. They(the old ones anyway)are such peaceful, historic places. I used to have a huge scrapbook of stone rubbings. My ex threw them out thinking he was helping me "grow-out" of my "morbidness". Hehe. I would hardly call my self morbid, well except my sense of humor at times, lol.

Also if you just sit you get to watch the wildlife, birds, rabbits, ferral cats. Lovely stuff.
