Input On Smiths/Moz Night In NYC (+) A Belated Thank You

Many thanks to those who came to my opening night on the third. We had a great turnout & the Smiths tunes got an awesome response...

I would love to do a Smiths/Moz night sometime in the near future. I'd just like to see what kind of interest there would be & what you guys think of some of these questions:

1. Do you think it's best to spin Moz/Smiths exclusively all night, or would it be more fun to mix in other postpunk/synthpop favorites? (...or maybe more closely related genres e.g. britpop/UK punk.)

2. I can easily do it on my night (which is Tuesday)... but would it be preferable for me to try & arrange a Friday or Saturday?

3. What are some of the good & bad points to past Smiths nights that you guys have been to? (I've only attended one)

Let's get some ideas flowing...

*spinning more Moz on Tuesday than anyone in New York! (a worthy goal, don't you think?)

i'm doing a special madonna tribute on the 31st & i really hope we can keep both that & the Smiths/Moz tribute cover-free...
