Default What are some other good bands besides Morrissey?

I listen to a lot of 80's music and some alternative, i.e. Dave Matthews, Depeche Mode, The Cure, T-Rex, London Suede, Cranberries, Sundays, Doves, etc. I'm looking for some other good bands to listen to. Any suggestions?

    Default Air

    Wheere are they playing?

I was pretty dissapointed in their new album, except for the track with Beck (which I shutter to type, because I think he is the original hipster doofus). It just never seems to find a groove.

I'd have to say that Air is nice for me to listen to sometimes but it is one of those things for me that two albums suffice. When I listen to a band like The Smiths, I want all the stuff because I crave it more often but Air is just very good atmospheric type music and there's alot of that around.

Other bands not mentioned (I think) that I like:
Low, Grandaddy, Apples in Stereo, Stereolab, Spiritualized, belle and Sebastian, Beth Orton, Death Cab for Cutie, Cinerama, Elf Power, Bjork, some catherine wheel stuff, moby and lou barlow stuff. I'm sure there's more I am forgetting but I added to the list a bit.
