Ruffian: Eastern USA Tour July 2001

[Ruffian]

Dare I even advertise this.. But the Ruffian is extensivley visiting the East of the U.S this week.. An adventurous trek, the route of which will be..

Land in NYC on Thursday evening (social opportunity suggestions welcome).. and then depart Friday to Washington DC, Shenandoah NP, Great Smokey Mountains, Nashville, Mammoth Caves NP, Chicago, then through Amish Country to Niagara and the Finger Lakes before returning to NYC for a couple of days..

If there are any suggestions.. bars, clubs and any other places of interest that I must see or do en route (As there is a vast US present on this board).. then please offer suggestions..

I will of Course be taking 'The World Won't Listen'... for the bus's cassette player!! and anything else I can tape up really quickly before I go..!

THE PLACE IS AMAZING.

IF I COULD I WOULD LOVE TO GO THERE FOR ABOUT 2 WEEKS AND TRAVEL ALL OVER THE PLACE AND SEE ALL THE SITES AND MAYBE EVEN CATCH A FLIGHT TO GREENLAND WHICH I HEAR IS GREAT AS WELL.

I do have a weakness for Viking Ladies I must confess.. It has broken my heart as well as made me feel elated..

Perhaps I should get to Iceland and see for myself!! Happy Brithday for the 30th..
