Alright, bleeding has stopped and there's no pain.
However, I was told not to rinse my mouth for 24 hours.

I feel for you, back in 2001 I got 3 wisdom teeth taken out in one day.... YES, all in one moment.

Swallowing blood for an entire day was horrible.... I hate blood.

it's strange that you can't rinse. when i got a wisdom tooth out, a couple of years ago, the dentist told me to rinse frequently with warm salt water.

I was todl the same, but I didn't rinse because I was affraid that more blood would come out.... I was terribly dehydrated by the pain pills they gave me.

My dentist's instruction is after 24 hours later, I have to rinse my mouth with warm salt water.

It was awful around six in the evening, but now I'm not hungry anymore.
It may be good opportunity to detox.
I won't eat for next two days if I feel OK in the morning.

with my dodgy wisdom tooth that gets infected, I was also told to rinse frequently with warm salt water, whic h clears up the infection q'uicker than antibiotics (the dentist told me that, and it's true)

Poor Kewpie. Can you remember, did you have some paste stuff painted on the tooth? I've had that before and been told not to get it wet for a certain amount of time, so I wonder if thats the reason...
