Hello all. I am looking for the following Smiths rarities. Most of them were uploaded to this forum at some point but all the links appear to have expired:
Shakespeare's Sister (Live at the Palladium, Hollywood)
Rubber Ring/Asleep
The Boy With The Thorn In His Side (Single Version)
I Don't Owe You Anything (BBC)
Also, if anyone has great quality copies of the BBC versions of "Half A Person," "How Soon Is Now?" and "London," please pass them along. Mine sound a little hissy and/or have tape noise. (Perhaps all copies are like that. I don't know.) Better versions of "Pretty Girls Make Graves" and version 2 of "Reel Around The Fountain" would be welcome as well. I only have them from the BBC radio documentary.
Speaking of, was the BBC "How Soon Is Now?" identical to the studio version? It certainly sounds like it, to my ears.
Has there ever been a decent quality release of the BBC "Wonderful Woman"? All the ones I have heard sound dreadful.
Many thanks in advance. I will be glad to readily dispatch any rare tracks I have for your troubles.
