Is there a solo list out there anywhere?
Just wondering if the 1992 list is realistic in prizing, seem to me very low compairing with 2005... Are the prizes really increases so much since 1992? I didnt think there are much more collectors out there nowadays, because most of them grow up with the band. And ebay should realize a much better support for rare stuff as collector-sources in 1992..
On the other hand I think some item didnt fit in the 2005 list, as they were much to expensive and less rare, all the german stuff for example (Green TQID, 12" Still ill, Blue Sheila, grey Strangeways) or the 1992 release fpr William...
Between all of us on this board we should be able to come up with a list, if not values
I'll throw out the first few...
(in no order)
That's Entertainment Promo
No One an Hold A Candle To You Promo
You Are The Quarry Interview Promo
Any Of The Live Westwood One Type Radio Shows
Pregnant For The Last Time Puzzle (if we are doing things like that as well)
Interesting Drug Birthday Sleeve Promo
You Are The Quarry Korean With Different Booklet Photo
the Bowie/Morrissey outsiders tour cd/pack
the 12" promos for the early singles
the 7" promo retro labelled singles
the 2 10" promo singles
I think even the newer cd-r promo singles would make the top 100 as well.

I'm by far not a serious collector..so please excuse my maybe naive question...but....what's so special about the CDRs (esp. the "No One Can Hold A Candle To You" one)? Are they official?
I promised myself not to delve into the TP business...nononoooooooooonoo!!!
But, btw, Grimo darling...i recently fell in love with the Moz DJ 12 inch promos...i have them all now except for the numbered "Suedehead". They're great!!

Reel Around The Fountain is reputed to have under 30 copies pressed (dunno how true this is btw), because of the storm around at the time & the change to This Charming Man, but most others probably had a lot more pressed up, some were used as promo's, but obviously there was that little gem discovered recently http://forums.morrissey-solo.com/sho...+test+pressing on here.
So it's still worth keeping an eye out for TP's

Does anyone have scans of the article/pages of the smiths top 100 rarities from karel's site that used to be up? I printed them out and don't know where the hell they went.
It had pictures along with details, etc...
If anyone has these scans or can scan the record collector mag or wherever it came from that would be so great!

You're nothing to me! I'm everything to myself!
Back to The Smiths rarities, unless I am going blind in my old age, I didn't see the Catalogue magazine flexi single of 'London'.
I bought 4 of these on the day it came out and still have three left, still in their original sleeve attached to the magazine unplayed. I was hoping they would have contributed to my early retirement plan.... but somehow do not feel they have vastily increased in price since....
Also what about the cassette single for 'I started something'? Must be worth a couple of quid surely?

Just wondering what number it was on the list from record collector in 2005?
Thank you very much for that.
I now have number 25,89 and 85.
