He absolutely will. Especially on Wednesdays, when he can get a free ride down to B&Q to use his 10% OAP discount card. Then he'll get a shed like he's secretly always wanted and be up until all hours annoying the neighbours with mysterious banging noises.

if morrissey retires, he brings a whole group of people down with him too. kristeen young, for one, would vanish off the face off the earth (unfortunately..she's really cool though. i enjoy her music a lot now, but, i am being realistic. the world of music is not ready to embrace the eccentric any time soon) boz would start touring with the Polecats heavily, Jesse would turn to drugs, Arthuro would die of gluttony without Morrissey setting the boundaries what he can and cannot eat, Julia would check herself into a low security insane asylum because of her immense loss of purpose in life, and I..

...well I'd be happy because I no longer have to share him with millions of people. he's miiiiiiiiiinneeee!!! aaaaalllll miiiinnnneeee!!!!! muahahahaaaa-... no I would be very sad too.

Too much melodrama in here, people!

I'd be very happy for Morrissey, if that's what he wanted to do with his life. Hell, if i had the money, that's what I'd like to do with my life!

He's given a lot of himself over the years, and created a very impressive body of work, not to mention all the people he's touched -- literally and otherwise.

If he wants to travel or lie on a beach somewhere, I wish him the best.

If he retired, he'd have loads of people doing pilgrimage to his residence to see him, show their painful love for him, share stories, hear stories from him and begging him to come back... But most of all, he'd leave so many widows and widowers of his music... That'd be an irreplaceable void in my life... A part of me would retire too...

Honestly, this is my first and foremost reaction....BUT then I step back and think about the fact that my love and admiration for him would try to understand it and I would respect him for the desicion. He's given a lot to us all already, and sure, some more wouldn't hurt at all, but it's whatever he think's is best for him. It makes me sad to say or think about this, cuz you want this person to continue doing what it is changed your life. No matter what... Morrissey's music will NEVER die. EVER.

*goes back to not thinking about it, waaaaay too painful*

If Morrissey retires, I would be maybe little sad, but also happy for him. But I have to see him live. If I remember right, he was here in Finland last year. Jesus, I heard about that concert too late. I'm afraid, that I won't never see him.

I understand, that he must rest too. I want to hug him.

It depends on if he retires 99 or 100%.
