An REM thread for r.e.m. stuff

Would someone be willing to rip the radio promos from the Murmur and Reckoning Deluxe Editions, they can be accessed by rewinding 1 minute and twenty seconds before the start of the first track on disc two.

Unfortunately, I have to join the long line of requests, as I lost some files (posted here some years ago) due to an external HD crash:

Lossless instrumental versions:
- What's The Frequency, Kenneth?
- Strange Currencies
- Crush With Eyeliner
- Tongue
(Bang And Blame was also part of this series, but I have that one)

Lossless: Man On The Moon live with Chris Martin (from the "Make Poverty History" compilation)

I try to archive things in multiple places and formats, so the majority of the collection luckily survived, I even have these 5 in mp3, but I would greatly appreciate it if someone could re-upload the lossless files.

Also, there are some live show recordings I lost (a few of them were ripped from a no longer existing youtube account that was linked here earlier), any replacements would make me happy (dates are in YYYY-MM-DD format):

1982-10-10 Raleigh, NC, USA (the full length audio, I have the video)
1983-05-21 St. Paul, MN, USA
1984-10-12 Passaic, NJ, USA
1985-06-22 Milton Keynes, England, UK
1985-12-08 Winston-Salem, NC, USA
1986-11-01 Boston, MA, USA
1989-06-04 Provinssirock Festival - Seinäjoki, Finland
1989-09-19 East Rutherford, NJ, USA
1989-10-10 Pullman, WA, USA
1989-10-11 Seattle, WA, USA
1995-09-29 Buffalo, NY, USA
1995-10-18 Bristow, VA, USA
1999-07-11 Bologna, Italy
1999-07-16 Dublin, Ireland
2003-09-16 St. Paul, MN, USA
2005-07-05 Hull, England, UK
2005-07-10 Cardiff, Wales, UK
2008-11-04 Santigao, Chile
2008-11-11 Sao Paulo, Brazil

Thanks a lot in advance!

Hey, I can help with those.

The Monster instrumental tracks: https://www.sendspace.com/file/ud98un
* here's all five of them (including B&B), so everybody else can have them all.
* these come directly from Blistersoul's singles (many, many thanks, man!), so they are real FLACs, not recompressed crap from compilations.
* these are pretty rare as real FLACs.

And here's that 2004 "Man On The Moon" live version with Chris Martin: https://www.sendspace.com/file/lieyam
* also true FLAC, straight from the album

I second the request for "2008-11-11 Sao Paulo, Brazil". My friend was at that one :)

Brilliant, thank You!!! (And thanks to Blistersoul as well, of course.)

Thanks for the re-up menza08. I just lost the hard drive with Trolling For Olives On It. It appears you were missing the Stumbles, Alphabet Soup, and Stocking Stuffers volumes. If anyone could repost those I would greatly appreciate it!

Huge thanks also to gargumma, inyourroom, and fanofrem for their recent posts as well.

soundofthenorth, or anyone else, what exactly are the Rarities of Us compilations? I totally missed them somehow. Were they just R.E.M. and band-members? Were they lossless or mp3 based? Does anyone still have any? Sorry for all the questions, but they sound interesting, but I've never seen them mentioned outside of this forum and the Talking About The Passion Forum. Forgive me in advance for my lack of knowledge.

Can anyone tell me if these are two different songs or if they are really the same song?

Shiny Happy People (Dance to the Music Mix) found on Shiny Happy People 12" Promo

Shiny Happy People (Music Mix) found on German 12" Vinyl and US Maxi-Single Promo CD

Thanks!

Thanks gargumma. I thought that might be the case, but I really preferred to hear an expert's opinion before I deleted it from my want list. One less track to go.

Thanks again!

I seem to be lighting up the board...

Does anyone have the What's The Frequency, Kenneth?/I Took Your Name/Crush With Eyeliner medley from the promo CD, The September 1994 Guide?

Thanks

menza08, I have found "Stumbles" from the "Trolling For Olives" set hiding on my computer. Hopefully someone will post the Alphabet Soup and Stocking Stuffers volumes as well.
