No. Much as admire his work and his output (I even did a pilgrimage to his tomb).. I believe he was fuelled by an ego and overwhelmingly motivated by aesthetistic sentiments (and probably only liked the beautiful people)... Not very Godlike .. and me, being one of the one of the disaffected couldn't worship a false idol...

God should better have been Wilde - there wouldn't be so many ugly people around then. And the two-legged beasts of creation might have been more intelligent? Ah. "Wish" is a four letter word, .. "he cried, he cried" ...
