I like the montage Craig Killburn did of it to promote The Best Of Morrissey!

It was the beginning of his excellency...only other singles to get a 10 by me

    Classic, classic, classic.
"I think both me and Morrissey are about as proud as anyone can be about those records. I'm proud of everything the band did, and I'm proud of the relationship, and I'm proud of the friendship. I don't have any feud going on. I support what Andy's doing, and I don't know what Morrissey's doing but I'm behind it." - Johnny Marr, 2013.

It is 10/10 absolute class song.I remember when it came out I was actually staying in Southend where it was shot with my grandparents and was amazed at the video. It could have been little old veggie, full of angst me in it!!It sounds even better live...I like it on Who Put the M...where he adds "When you`re on your own.....LOVE IT.

ha ha, what do you vote the ones you are not so keen on? if "not one of your favorites" gets a 10

Unlike some, I have been careful in giving out 10's, but this is one of maybe 10 solo songs that I will award a 10.

That's how I feel about this song.

Even though I personally do not LOVE this song, I cannot deny its brilliance.

The way I vote is I vote with my emotions unless I know my emotions are not in sync with the reality.

In this case, I'd probably rate the song as an 8 in terms of how much I personally like it but a 10 for its total perfection.

The first solo Morrissey song I ever heard. Loved it then and I still do. Classic - 10

Yes, I think that is fair. For me I vote purely on how much I like the song. There are many that I would give a higher vote to but I save the 10s for the real gems (In my view) Some of the songs that have been voted 10 by others make me go WOW! but then that is what is so good about these polls. You see differing views. It might be a bit rude but when I really am not keen on a song and I see votes of ten I think wow, do they really like that? or are they loving blindly.
