from the Ice Age to the dole age
Hi.
I'm feeling a bit down atm, a teacher in my college died recently of cancer at 36 we had a tribute to her, and played "Sing" by Travis. It's just sort of sunk in for me how sad that song actually is.. I used to think it was quite happy.
Anyways, now everytime I hear "Sing" or "Driftwood" I just start bawling like a baby, so I was wondering if any of you could suggest antidote songs? E.g. happy songs, songs that make you feel good when you listen to them, regardless of if they're cheesy or anything.
I'm loving -
Wouldn't It Be Nice - Beach Boys
Waterloo Sunset - The Kinks
Once And Never Again - The Long Blondes
Feeling Good - Nina Simone
Do You Love Me - The Contours
