Strangeways, Here We Come - original Japanese CD (completes my collection of original Japanese CD albums, unfortunately Hatful and TQID have their obi strips missing and the debut album has the round sticker missing)

Vauxhall and I - Argentinian CD (a very pink faced Moz, compared to the std UK release) It is perhaps also worth mentioning that Morrissey's name is misspelt (just one S) on the disc and the spines, and the font used on the front cover is different to the one used in the rest of the world.

    Viva Hate 2012 - UK promo cd-r

    Two packages arrived yesterday

Thanks to Woody I've not had to contribute to the sales figures for VH2012... and thanks to Mikael I now have a very nice French test pressing of the real deal

    Dave
    Jools Holland: "Knock Knock!"
    Morrissey: "I'm not in!"
    Jools: "Oh, come on."
Morrissey: "I refuse to open the door."

The 'Deluxe' edition, very rare! It's amazing how many extra tracks - contemporary b-sides and unreleased tracks - have been squeezed on the cd-r that would have made VH2012 worthwhile; Hairdresser on fire, I know very well how I got my name, I'll never learn, Ordinary Boys, Lifeguard on duty, Please Help the Cause Against Loneliness, Sister I'm a Poet, Will Never Marry, Happy Lovers United and Disappointed. Just saying...

Just to be clear - there's nothing on this cd-r that we don't all have thanks to previous leaks and bootlegs - it was just nice of someone to put them all together for me - it was an unexpected bonus. It was nice to listen to yesterday, a collection of contemporaneous tracks from the Viva Hate period - I've only listened through the lap top speakers though, so I can't tell what difference the remastering has made to VH.

And yes, a proper box and a Wolverhampton DVD would have been great.... but I've said that so often I sound like a broken record

As the others have said already: nice catch! And a bargain too, considering one was listed on eBay yesterday for $99.99 USD buy-it-now and has already sold for that price! Very lucky.

I couldn't help myself...I just bought a copy of the Argentinian Vauxhall CD about three minutes ago too. Thanks for the heads-up!

I have a brazilian edition of Vauxhall & I... this one has the same pinker cover of argentinian one. However, it contains Morrissey's name correctly spelled.
