Nice Christmas gifts. I learned this tip from Mikael. The promo puzzle fits perfectly in a UK slim jewel case. With mine, the puzzle is in plastic acetate like yours is and it slides perfect in the Jewel case.

    Hi Roky

    Thanks for the tip

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw what my present was, this certainly jumps to the top of my favourite Mozza item list I honestly didn't think I would ever own one.

Yeah, it is one of my favorite Morrissey items. I didn't think I would ever come across one. They are really nice...

I was walking around the streets and just bought this Viva Hate EMI100 Brazilian issue.

According to Passions, my copy is just a reissue from the original release, because it has no booklet.
The cd was slipped into a cardboard box with a thick EMI booklet. In January 1998 (and later in 2002), the album was reissued again, this time without the box and booklet, but with same catalogue number.

Is it really wicked of me to wish for another family... I found in my stocking a "Manchester Legends" mug with photos of Moz, Ian Brown, Shaun Rider and Noel Gallagher and a set of Smiths coasters.

Funnily enough neither were on my 'most wanted' list

This only applies to the original UK/Europe edition. As far as I know the album never came in the box with booklet in Brazil.

Then it's standard edition in Brazil. I confess I think this Brazilian edition is really poor...

Are you going to open it and play it to see what is on the disc?

There was a test pressing for it on ebay a few weeks back http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT
which said "Great versions of these songs." Are they alternative versions, like the recent "unreleased" bootleg, or are they just Peel / Jensen sessions?

A Google search shows some discussion as to whether this release is bootleg or official http://post2peer.com/en/if-it-looks-...010-12-28.html

Might, might not...I have #30 of 100(colored vinyl). Have no idea what color it is, but I don't *think* I'm going to open it.

Good news though, myself and one other person have the lowest #'s in the place I got them from.

Even better news: I am willing to trade MY copy, so send me some offers if you want?(not looking for easily obtainable Smiths/Morrissey stuff, hard to find/OOP/rare stuff gets this). That way, I dont get offers for US pressings, I dont need/want.

This is a bootleg. It's not worth more sealed than opened. I actually think it'll never be worth more than what you paid for it now. Its interest lies in the content, not the packaging. Once the content leaks, the value drops (see Revelation, etc).

Judging by the tracklisting it looks like a collection of some of the tracks from the Peel Sessions.

    I could be wrong though
