From our April 28th Edition, in news stands now:

(Page 28, paragraph 3)
"The notion that Mr. Bush is an environmental health warning is just plain wrong. His announcement that he was pulling out of the Kyoto accords did not end America's involvement in the treaty. It has been dead ever since the Senate voted 95-0 against the idea in 1997. Mr. Bush has upheld regulations requiring diesel fuel to be cleaned of most of its pollutants. He upheld rules requiring improvements in the energy efficiency of domestic appliances (air conditioners being a small exception)."

I thought this bit of news might prove interesting to environmentally aware Morrissey fans. Good Evening and sleep at peace: your country is in good hands. You are far better off than we are here in London.

Thanks for that info!

Here are some other links I think will help others and their arguments with each other. I think first and foremost the initial issue should be that some of us need to agree that we disagree and move along with it. However, if what I have here isn't helpful enough, let me know, and I will do my best for you to help as much as possible!

For the record, I had read AND listened to several news stories surrounding the money that was put into re-counting the whole state of Florida after the election had been decided, done by the Supreme Justices...the results, after EVERY vote was counted (pregnant, dimpled, dangling chad included) was that George Bush would have won Florida by almost 5000 votes, had they included all of them. There ya go!

Here are the links, and I hope they work...

this one has some quotes by GWB and a little summary underneath them.

also:

THIS one is a bit iffy for me- I am not a big supporter of people who report issues one sided. But they seemed to have very relevant info...I hope this helps everyone. I hope my links work. If not, this will prove my computer is out to get me and make me look an idiot!

"First, we would not accept a treaty that would not have been ratified, nor a treaty that I thought made sense for the country."—On the Kyoto accord in an interview with the Washington Post, April 24, 2001

Good hands, huh? Does he even know where Kyoto is?

Laura! I found your links! You hid them in a thread I was not involved in. But thanks for posting them for me on the other thread.

Anyways, here's a link you might be interested in...

Before that message title is jumped on and the point of my posting ignored.... USA misled its readers. Some consider that being dishonest. I felt lied to.

NOTE FAIR prides itself on being impartial. Whether you agree with that or not, they provide a link where you can voice your opinions to them.
