Taking place in Utrecht from August 9th til August 12th is Summer Darkness. This year's fest is also the 5th edition so the organisors made sure to invite quite a nice line-up for the event. During the 4 days you will find such as Front 242, And One, Covenant, My Dying Bride, Epica, Client, Modcom, The Cruxshadows, Assemblage 23, In Strict Confidence, Zombie Girl, Rotersand, Heimataerde, Krypteria, Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio, Chamber, Rome, The Frozen Autumn, Frank The Baptist, Implant, Genevieve Pasquier, Jaegerblut, XMH, Steinkind, Angelspit, Suicidal Romance, Diskonnekted and so on. As you see, the whol fest will bring EBM, darkwave, Neofolk and more genres from inside the 'dark' scene. The event takes places across the medieval city centre of Utrecht in the venues EKKO, Tivoli, Tivoli de Helling, ACU and the Dom Church. This years there will be city walks, guided museum tours, an open air gothic markt at the Dom Church Square, boat transport along the canals between the venues and lots more. A ticket for the 4 days costs € 82.50, a 3-days pass (August 10-11-12) € 67,50 and for the Front 242 gig on Thursday 9 augustus € 25.
