Hey Mud,
You look really good in that photo. I'll be admiring you from not-too-afar at the CONvention.
My convention tickets say Saturday 3:30pm-9:30pm. I think KISS FM or some horrible radio station like that hosts a dance club at the Palace
at 10pm, after the convention. (I wonder if those trendoids get to view the Mozzer pics on the wall as they dance to Lil' Bow Wow??)

Anyway, are there any guesses as to what time These Charming Men will be performing? They are the only reason I'm going. My guess is about 6:30-7pm--what do you think?

P.S. I'll be the drunk girl eating a banana!

I was about to bitch about why it's over so early On Saturday! But now I know ;-/ That is not right because I can only make It to The smiths day and i still have to pay 30$? Grr...

I dunno but that is the only reason I'm going as well. I sure can't buy anything! I've never seen a Smiths cover band.. So I hope they are good.. If Sweet and tender were playing I wouldn't even bother.

Just heard a few songs By "these charming men" They are VERY good. Be sure to listen to Shoplifters and This charming man.. I like! I love the lead singers very Irish accent :swoon: I would almost think he was Morrissey If I Used my imagination and in seeing them live.. closed my eyes ;-p They are also good at imitating the music .. which is a feat in itself because I've heard some pretty horrible Covers (the entire punk cover album) Anyway.. You guys must give them a listen..

Jay, maybe you should mention that at most functions you wear glasses, so no one gets lost looking for you...In fact, at the 3 or so I have seen you at, I have only witnessed you in glasses. Oh, and by the way, girls, he is pretty tall and thin...but dresses well for the most part He is one person you will not see dressed up in any rockabilly/ high hair garb. That pic you posted really shows off your nice hair, though.

I don't believe in being found.

About the only way I would make it to Moz con is if I get amnesia and forget how to read and get really confused and board a plane which I think is headed for Amarillo, but in turn is heading to Los Angeles. And then, I stumble around the streets of LA, mumbling incoherently "cat and fiddle....cat and fiddle" where some poor stranger helps me to go to the cat and fiddle. And I sit and drink the remnants of everyone else's beers and I get so sick that I stumble out and haphazardly on the streets and pass out in front of the convention center. Then, it starts to rain and some nice attendant drags me inside to keep me from getting wet.

A little extreme I know, but really....

But I won't be able to...as I have absolutely no interest in that sort of function. It is hard enough for me to be in crowds of people at shows. I absolutely try not to subject myself to crowds of people when someone such as Morrissey isn't involved, really. (Someone SUCH as Morrissey, you'll notice I said. I will be attempting to see Bryan Ferry at the Greek in August- I THINK that is when he will be there)...

You saw me at Boz's show anyway. I'll send you a description and you can email me and see if you remember me at all.
