To while away those long hours waiting on new Morrissey material can I suggest an album worth listening to?."No More Shall We Part" by Nick Cave is a fantastic album. If you like your music thoughtful and mellow then this is for you.

Also proof that by signing a record contract you do not have to lose your artistic freedom or pander to record company executives.Cave has always managed to record and release whatever he wants .

Nick Cave also highlights one of the problems with Morrissey. Cave has managed to get better all the time by really WORKING at his writing. Morrissey, however, seems to get lazier all the time. Around the time of the singles on "Bona Drag" it really seemed as if he was trying to stretch himself. But ever since then (with the exception of some of the songs on "Vauxhall and I") he's shown an outrageous laziness. He could be great still, if he could be bothered. Silly songs about window cleaners, I'm sure, are not what he once would have expected to be doing at his age.

It is amazing that Cave is allowed to release masses of interesting material (non commercial), books as well as cd's. Obviously born with a Protestant work ethic and blessed with Daniel Miller as a boss. The new album is superb. Buy it.Cave is one of the most interesting (working) artists.

Morrissey, get your finger out.

I have just re-read "and the Ass saw the Angel" by Nick and I had forget just how good it is.

I would implore all out there to read it.

It's dark, twisted and funny.

I think it's actually about Greasetea......
