    You don't know Ludvine Sagnier???
She's a secret weapon of Francios Ozon...you should watch "Water Drops Burning Rocks", "8 Women" and "Swimming Pool".
She's also in PJ Hogan's "Peter Pan".

I remember seeing the film when i was quite young on the telly (as it was sci fi ) and ever since then, i have had a soft spot for jane fonda
(for a sequence in which Jane Fonda, undresses in zero gravity ).

Someone on imdb also suggested following:

    Elisha Cathbert
    Scarette Johansson
    Keira Knightley
    Kirstin Dunst

Mmm...I like them, but Keira and Kirstin are too thin IMHO.

Barbarella is directed by her ex-hubby Rodger Vadim (ultimate ladykiller!), perhaps she couldn't say no.
After she did Barbarella, she changed her direction for more serious stuff.
Some people didn't like her (coming from well-connected privileged background etc).
