First Blood - a small town Sheriff hassels Rambo and makes him go crazy commando. Rambo shoots a lot of stuff, blows up stuff, rides a motor bike, and jumps off a cliff.
Rambo: First Blood Part II - Rambo goes back to Vietnam and discover POWS. He fights some VC and Russians to free them. Rambo shoots a lot more stuff and blows more things up...he also kills a chicken.
Rambo III - Rambo goes to Afghanistan to free his friend...while there he helps Afghans fight commie Russians. Rambo shoots even more stuff and blows up a lot more...and also plays a game where he rides a horse and picks up a camel skin.

So my friend was kind of right about Part II. Didn't they make something similar to First Blood a couple years ago, I think either starring the Rock or Vin Diesel? About a vet who came back from the Gulf War and something about a corrupt town and possibly Sheriff? I remember seeing a preview for it a lot...
I like the idea of this blowing up stuff and killing commies.

No...that's Walking Tall. And the one with the Rock was a remake of the original Walking Tall from the 70's.So my friend was kind of right about Part II. rambo has changed meaning for me
the series is shit still
but after i came back from the gulf
when i saw it again, the 1st one
i really really understood the pathos that is within his character
and the truth is
in a weird way
the 1st film is actually 'anti-war'
because you see
what many of us vets struggle with
is that the American people really do not understand what a war really means
because we fight ours in OTHER PEOPLE'S COUNTRIES
and mark my words
someday America shall be taught a lesson in war by its victimized Veteran population
its called 'the chickens coming home to roost...'
