Bloody Londoners who complain about the tube clearly have no idea what public transport is like anywhere else in the country.
Too true, it could be worse you could have to use the South wales Valleylines service, it's so bad it's virtually pointless.
Viva Tram!
What would Birgit Friggebo do?
Agreed. I’m sure there are worse systems than the London tube. However the focus is not so much the transportation itself being unsound (though it is), it’s the *people* that make it rather stressful. Something about people as a mass (myself included) that seem to bring out the worst of human nature.
I think the site is trying to deal with it with some humour as well. It’s about bringing some relief to the unfortunate way many of us have to start our working day living in London.
I'm sure the people are just as bad when I get the train/bus into Manchester to be fair.
So is the London Tube some sort of train or subway station? Forgive my American ignorance.

It's an underground subway train type thing.

Just realised there's a typo in the initial link. How rubbish of me![]()
Got the lurgy that prevented me from going to GMEX gigs from tube trains...
dirty dirty horrible things...

I'm quite fond of the tube and I commute evry day at the moment. I live on the Northern Line which is one of the most frequently delayed/broken, right at the south end. This means I almost always get a seat and I find the journey quite useful for reading for uni and listening to my ipod.

You all should try Dublin Bus, completely crap.
I KNOW how crap public traonsport is in the rest of the uk especially rural
(i have to get a taxi and then 2 buses just to get to the nearest train station, then a 4 hour journey minimum just to get into england proper.)
Londoners are very very lucky, but i also dont envy them i';d hate to use the tube regularly its crowded dirty noisy and dangerous, but then thats city life for ya.
