    Morrissey is one of us.
Any more out there??? The stereotype that all vegetarians are skinny is certainly a myth.

Oh, definitely! I'm sure nobody believes I'm vegan when they meet me

Yeah okay nobody's actually ever said it but I think I'd be a bit suprised I was vegan if I met me?!

Eww I hope not. If it is, it's being replaced. I say I like low culture, not the past times of the lobotomised

Nintendo isn't that bad, I used to think Toad was cute.

Lilybett, what's low culture? Is it like Noel Fielding thrusting his crotch in my face?

I'll join up, I'm a self confessed chubby veggie. Whilst I'm always glad of the number of carnivores declining, theres nothing more irritating than hearing someone say that the reason they're turning vegetarian is to loose weight*. Grrrr.

    *especially if it works.
    This is a subliminal message.

I eat very very little and I have a gym membership that I use almost every day! I think it's the carbs that have been killing me! I used to be thinner on my veg diet about 2 years ago but ever since it's just been kind of weird!

Then you must be a sloth.

Or you were a bit too excited when PETA told you this:

Just because some junk food is vegan doesn't mean you should stuff your face with it. Duh.

i am surprised at how many people think a title (Vegan) right away makes you healthy. i know people who are vegetarian/vegan and are too skinny and weak because they don't eat enough of the right foods/nutrients. and i know vegan/vegetarian who are overweight because they eat junk food, processed food, simple carbs, starches, etc. then they think it must be genetics ... "I am vegan afterall, i don't know what's wrong."

there are vegetarian pamphlets that do mislead. statistically, vegetarians and vegan are less likely to be overweight. BUT, it's not a guarantee. there are other factors that play into as well.

this is not a post concerning duchess of course, since i don't know her story. but i know others like this

The thing Theo posted made me laugh for like 5 min. It's so funny/true.
I'm not overweight but I'm certainly not skinny...it's just weird that so many people consider that if you're vegan/vegetarian, you're automatically skinny as a stick. i just wanted to see if there are any more of us out tehre!
